Dino Fun!
We are all really enjoying our Dinosaur
topic so far. This afternoon we had so much fun getting arty and crafty! We
muddled up the classes to give us a chance to make new friends and to have a go
at working with other children and got stuck in with our dinosaur art!
Some of us made huge 3d dinosaurs using
junk modeling; some of them can even chew and bite! Some of us made dinosaurs eggs out of papier-mâché
and some of us made dinosaur bones using salt dough. Tomorrow we are going to
rotate around and have a go at a different dinosaur art project.
Thank you to all of our wonderful helpers!
Dangerous Dinosaurs!
Wow! You all worked so hard over the half-term
holiday on your dinosaur project. We’re sorry we didn’t have a chance to share
it earlier last week but it was definitely worth the wait!
We all enjoyed the dinosaur gallery we
created in the classroom where we had the chance to look at everyone else’s homework
and learn something new from our friends. We then shared our homework telling
each other what we found out, how we carried out our research and how we
created our marvelous models, posters and presentations!
Lots of children used the internet and
books to find out about their chosen dinosaur, some children even visited the exhibition
at Bristol Zoo, others went to M-Shed and a few children even visit Bristol
Museum!
Take a look at our fantastic facts and marvelous
models!
